EcoFoil 3" x 150' HVAC Tape is a premium high heat tape that is made specifically for HVAC duct wrap insulation. Made with a UV metalized polypropylene film, the heat reflective tape has a high tack acrylic adhesive. High heat tape can be used in many situations to create a seal that is resistant to moisture. Our HVAC foil tape repels heat, making it best for extreme temperatures. The acrylic adhesive for the heat reflective tape was created to perform at sub-freezing temperatures without affecting the application. To install our high heat tape, clean the surface of the insulation with a damp cloth to remove any dust, dirt, or oil to make sure the tape can properly adhere. Do not pull the heat reflective tape tightly because stretching can impede its ability to reflect heat. Firmly press from the inside out to fully attach the heat reflective tape to the surface. Simply cut the foil tape with a knife or pair of scissors.
